Vernal equinox - spring blooms

This quilt plays with the idea of reversing perspectives, aiming to establish a deeper connection with place. The viewer looks through a 'window' onto the natural bush surroundings, where the spring blossoms of wattle continue to bloom. In the creative cycle, the ideas conceived earlier are taking shape, beginning to manifest.

A time to throw open the windows, this is the season of life renewing itself, evident in the warm, gentle and sometimes startling colours of the native bush flowers.
