Season of the quickeningThis quilt forms part of the 'new' Wheel of the Year series, celebrating the seasonal cycle where I live, in the southern hemisphere, in the Blue Mountains of Australia.

These quilts are inspired by the changes in nature as I observe them in each phase of the cycle.

Here, it is the re-emergence of the light after the winter, heralded by the wattle blossoming.

In the creative cycle, it is the season of ideas 'quickening' to come into form.
